Sorry for the confusion. After making your stock, you can freeze the extra or use it in another recipe. You only need 2½ cups of it for the bisque. Hope that helps.

Both times I made it it was super thin (still delicious) this time around I’m doing half the stock. Not sure what the correct amount is as it just said add the stock but no amount.
