Cookie Dough Stuffed Cupcakes – luscious, chocolaty cupcakes filled with cookie dough and topped with a cream cheese frosting for indulgent baked treats!
Sometimes chocolate chip cookie dough is what you need to satisfy a sweet tooth…but when you want to take it up a notch, there is nothing better than chocolate chip cookie dough thrust inside of an intensely chocolate cupcake and topped with a cream cheese frosting.
For a while now, I have been looking for an excuse to make chocolate chip cookie dough and the opportunity presented itself with a surprise gift from one of my dearest friends. She loaned me – actually entrusted me with her cookie dough cookbook. So like a kid in a candy store, I got to work or should I say…to play.
This recipe is super easy to make, but the results are tremendous – a kid friendly dessert that will be a big hit at your next party. You make the chocolate cookie dough or the black magic cake in advance and whip up the cream cheese frosting at the last minute.
If you have never made cookie dough before, try it – it is sensational! Be aware there is a slight risk of getting sick from raw flour.
