Shrimp Scampi Pasta – quick and easy fancy pasta dish with the right amount of lemon and garlic flavor topped with creole-seasoned shrimps and parmesan cheese for an incredible weeknight meal served right out of the pan!

Closeup Shot of Shrimp Scampi Pasta

This gal right over here has been blogging about food since 2015. But I have a little confession here for today. This gal is not always 100% enthusiastic when it comes to sweating it out in the kitchen. I prefer quick and easy meals instead without sacrificing the flavor.

I’m usually good between 15-30 minute range cooking times. Trust me, I also have some cooking rut days where all I want to do is order takeout and devour my meal in front of the TV. Yes, that’s me! Or if I kinda feel like dressing up, I’ll sometimes go out to some fancy restaurant and go back home blabbering about how I wasted a week’s worth of groceries for one night. Yes, that’s also me.

But now, I’ve had a change of heart.

A Skillet of Shrimp Scampi Pasta Served with Lemon Slices

I discovered herbs and spices that can transform any simple meal into restaurant quality without the big bill and extensive labor in the kitchen. Pasta is usually my go-to dish whenever I want a fancy meal on our table. In fact, I’ve got a couple of them up on this blog.

All it takes is just a little sprinkle of my secret seasoning (now that’s not a secret at all) – homemade Creole Seasoning – for a bolder and more flavorful dish.

Pasta on a Skillet Topped with Shrimp

I think the only time-consuming part of this dish is the shrimp peeling. But hey, you can always buy the peeled packaged ones. I won’t judge you at all!

This Shrimp Scampi Pasta is coated in a vibrant garlicky, lemony sauce with a little heat to awaken your taste buds. You can also throw in some bacon bits to take it to the next level ’cause bacon is BACON, right?

A Serving of Shrimp Scampi Pasta

Prefer a melt-in-your-mouth creamy pasta? Don’t worry, you can always try this Cajun Chicken Pasta with a penne pasta soaked in a creamy alfredo sauce and topped with a spicy, flavorful chicken. You’ll totally love both of these pasta dishes for sure.

Now I’m giving you permission to hoard all the pasta on sale in your favorite grocery store ’cause nothing is as fancy as eating pasta right in the comfort of your own home.

Enjoy!

Tips and Notes:

  1.  You can add bacon bits to this dish for added texture.
  2. If you want to go all out, you can substitute the chicken stock for white wine.
  3. Be careful not to overcook the shrimp or it’ll be tough.
  4. If you’re a total pasta lover like me, you can check my other pasta recipes HERE and other delectable dishes.

I have tried about half a dozen of your recipes so far. They all work. The boiling water biscuits were a little grainy so I’ll look for cornmeal flour that’s not so coarse. Maybe masa, do you think? Favorite so far has been cabbage with sausages. Big hit. Looking forward to more seafood, like today’s scampi.
